Riot Kings started in the winter of '09. Original members of the band Alibi, Keith Sinnott and Bill "Bones" Barklay were looking to start a new modern rock project. They were looking for a lead singer that could get the job done. At the same time, Kent Johannesen bass player for the band Red River Soul, was parting ways with his old band and looking for a new project himself. Always a backup singer and bass player, Kent decided to give the frontman role a try. After responding to an ad on craigs list the three musicians collaborated on some very cool new music. With the combination of Barklay's driving guitar riffs, Sinnotts solid bass lines, and Johannesen's soulful vocals Riot Kings had the start of something good. All they needed was a drummer. Long time friend of Sinnott's, Marc Mascagna was just the thing Riot Kings needed. A seasoned player of the drums, Marc's combination of skill and heart behind the kit brought Riot Kings to a whole new level. With an album released and the buzz starting to form, Riot Kings are bringing the rock to every live show they play and the music they write. Keep an eye out for them coming to your town!
