Sandra Hawkins (Black Diamond) & HBF formerly (Ron Hawkins & HBF) members consist of Sandra Hawkins and her band members. The gospel group was established in the fall 2007 by Ron and Sandra Hawkins. Ron Hawkins the original leader (deceased Oct, 2010),was a native of Belton, TX a former member of Doo Wop greats such as the "Del Vikings", and notable R/B group "Harold Melvin & The Blue Notes". He was an avid singer, songwriter, and producer. Sandra Hawkins continues her ministry of songs and music as an international solo artist in honor of her late husband Ron. The couple traveled and ministered internationally appearing on " The Word Network TV in over 250 countries and many world renowned TV shows such as "BET", "The Bobby Jones Gospel Hour" and have been featured guests on many talk shows in radio and TV workshops globally. The couple toured the Grand Bahamas June 2010 on a gospel retreat with Gospel USA Magazine appearing in the magazine's June-July and August-Sept issues in 2010. Their hit single "Make Heaven Your Home" appeared consecutively in both issues on the "Nation's Top 30" most requested new gospel songs list as #15 on the charts and continues the climb the charts in 2011. Sandra is a native of Shreveport, Louisiana. she is an A&R executive, singer, songwriter, producer and the owner of her own independent gospel record label "Jesus Christ 1st Records LLC located in Killeen, TX. Sandra has dedicated her entire life to serving God and helping others to achieve success in their gospel music careers. She believes that her God given gifts and talents of music were meant to minister to lost souls globally for direction to follow the teachings of "Jesus Christ" and has named her gospel record label "Jesus Christ 1st Records" in obedience and acceptance to her true calling into God's ministry.
