Schemata Theory is a six piece metal band based in Reading, Berkshire. The band was formed by vocalist Myles Dyer, lead guitarist Huw Roch, bassist Carl Quanstrom and rhythm guitarist Mario Scinto, who met through a previous band. The band entered the renowned 'Stakeout Studios' in August 2011, working with producer Jason Wilcock, to record their at the time untitled debut album as a four piece, with Myles Dyer taking his original role of drummer for the process of recording. With the eleven track album recorded but lacking vocals the band set out to complete their line up, recruiting vocalist Luke Wright, and Myles switching to vocals. After a busy year of auditions, as well as writing and fine tuning their vocal performances the band returned to the studio in August 2012 to finish off the album, now titled 'Dry Lung Rhetoric'. Now with a completed album, the band set about finalising their line up which was completed by the addition of drummer Joshua Barretto. The band now having a full line up, they set about shooting their debut music video for 'A Complex Slate' which was filmed by the brilliant production team of 'Horsie in the Hedge'. The release of the album 'Dry Lung Rhetoric' led by the video for the single 'A Complex Slate' was on the 23rd November2012, through the bands own label ABAF Records. The band released the album to stream for free in its entirety on YouTube as well as being available worldwide through many online outlets such as iTunes and available as a physical copy direct from the band's website www.schematatheory.com
