Seedy Bio long (2018)
Unrestrained, fervid, blazing, psychedelic, rock from Melbourne, Australia.
Seedy Jeezus returning to Europe July 2018 to promote their 2nd studio album "Polaris Oblique" out April 2018 through Lay Bare Recordings (Netherlands) and distributed through Burning World Records. A new album of "Space blues tripped electric jams", features guest spots from Isaiah Mitchell (Earthless), and Tony Reed (Mos Generator).
Once referred to as “The Bearded Shamen of Riffology” Seedy Jeezus take the beast that is 60s psych and meld it to the throbbing corpse of 70s rock. Renowned for never playing the same show twice, and breaking off into ferocious jams and improvisations. “What the audience receives is a fully fledged rock and roll demon leaping down from the stage and racing around the room” - Sarah Kidd, Ambient Light
They have released five 12″ records since 2015.
1. Debut "S/T" (2015)
“The best 70s-inspired psychedelic rock around with a big twist of stoner. - Top 10 Albums of 2015” - Chris Pearson, lifeisnoise.com
"This album has served as the gateway to the big scene of stoner and have been involved in prestigious festivals and acting alongside greats like Earthless." - Paul Bracamonte, La Habitacion 235
“It’s reasonable to assume Seedy Jeezus’ debut album would be viewed as further evidence of the impending moral apocalypse – a badge of honor in the context of rock’n’roll’s perverted sense of righteousness” - Patrick Emery, Brag Magazine
“If you like bands like Lecharous Gaze, Radio Moscow, Nebula, MC5, etc.. you will dig this…” - Scott aka. Dr. Space, Writingaboutmusic.blogspot.com

2. "Echoes In The Sky" (2015)
"Opening in a haze of bong smoke, the more structured first movement does sound like Sabbath covering something with a similar chilled out vibe to Pink Floyd’s Green is the Colour, but the mushrooms soon kick in and it dives down the rabbit-hole, hard-grooving bassline and reverb guitar over a cruising ride, slowly gathering speed until it explodes in a full-on cosmic meltdown.” - The Beige Baron, Brown Noise Unit

5. Tranquonauts (With Isaiah Mitchell) (2016)
“It’s a three-dimensional sonic space, a space time continuum that sits at the bar with John Coltrane, worships at the shrine Hendrix and dons a robe with Dead Meadow” - Patrick Emery, Beat Magazine
"While the prevailing vibe drips from being so coated in lysergic ooze, there always remains a sense of intention behind the interstellar exploration in these pieces.” - JJ Koczan, The Obelisk

Enjoy
