Hi. - As some may know, I'm a trucker. - Been a gypsy for over 30 some odd years. - The big problem out here is noise when trying to record. It can't be fixed, so I never recorded out here (except "I'm Gonna Walk" on my iGuitfiddle page which started as an experiment in vocal tweaking), only snatch & grabs during down time off the road. - As a musician, I'm a damned fine truck driver & I'll probably do that 'til the end. - BUT... I'm working toward good music recording in future, too. Stay tuned. - Thanx much to my fans. My admiration is mutual. - I hope great things for everyone - Bless - tcR

I view myself as a Songwriter and Orchestrator, not much interested in performance - I get these ideas and slam together a concept quick & dirty - My strong suit is Acoustic Rhythm Guitar but I became a Multi-Instumentalist just in self defense.
Why this name?
If it's not "TC" then it's probably "iGuitfiddle" - TC came about because I worked some place that already had a Tom there. - I kept it 'cuz nobody can read "Thomas" and say it. - iGuitfiddle was a play on iMac and Guitfiddle to describe what I do back when I signed up for iCompositions in '04 or '05
Do you play live?
I might do open mics once in awhile at whatever coffee house or bar that I'm near at the time, anywhere in the country. - The only special moments that I can recall is years ago when my LA band played a downstairs venue and we drew the crowd from the upstairs venue (I wrote 99% of that music) and also when I was a bassist in a band that was choking my creativity but it turned out that the one song of mine that got played live was the one that got the best audience reaction.
How does the internet change the music industry?
It's truly interesting - With all the sites and great players, you'd have to be oblivious to not be humble - with tech today you mostly have to rely on everyone's good will to make any kind of profit on music sales - The real cream will rise to the top of the money tree but also everyone that kept their day jobs can still be heard and enjoyed by someone somewhere in the world without hinderance from A&R and social standing or looks alone - Also sites like this one has the added benefit of reuniting old lost pals and bringing together artists from all over the planet for collaborative efforts - A true revolution.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
As I stated, the revolution is here - I'm a songwriter and orchestrator, not a performer - The only way I would sign is if they give me a sign on bonus, foot all the bills for studio, engineering, hired guns and distribution, with the stipulation that I reserve the right to play rhythm guitar or other instruments on those pieces that I deem necessary, retain appropriate rights, get my cut of the cash and have some say on who is singing my song.
Band History:
Garage Bands and Jam Sessions only
Your influences?
Radio of all kinds, TV, Movies and Jam Mates.
Favorite spot?
The old ranch in Morongo Valley, California before it became a park
Equipment used:
Anything that's at hand, a mandolin, Mac computers, Bass, regular tape players/recorders, Roland Guitar Synth, cheap MIDI drums or an acoustic trap kit, loops, any keyboard, all kinds of noise makers & usually whatever guitar is handy - I have had some folks freak out at how good their "piece of junk" spare guitar sounded when I play them - I figure, like people, every instrument has at least one hit in them.
