Mullen, Ronald Isley, Mexican pop star Alessandra Rosaldo, The Manhattans, jazz multi-Grammy winners the Manhattan Transfer, gospel legend Edwin Hawkins, Beatles drummer Ringo, Jazz legend George Duke, rock legend Joe Cocker, iconic pop group “Chicago”, rapper Young M.C., R&B stars Howard Hewett-Deniece Williams-Stephanie Mills-Kashif-Melba Moore-Mary J. Blige, father of punk music Jonathan Richman, country stars Garth Brooks & Dolly Parton, Latin music stars Willie Colon & Hector Lavoe, Phantom of the Opera star Michael Crawford, Rolling Stones guitarist Ron Wood, Filipino star Imelda Papin, disco salsa innovators Dr. Buzzard's Savannah Band, longtime pop star Engelbert Humperdink, and new Nashville duo Sisters J. Ted won a Grammy for his work on "At This Time" by Burt Bacharach (along with Dr. Dre, Chris Botti, the Black Eyed Peas, and Rufus Wainwright), & co-produced with Burt a song on Ronald Isley's Dreamworks CD "Here I Am". On "New Music From An Old Friend", Ted played the guitar solo on Brian Wilson’s "What Love Can Do" & co-produced "Still Remember" with Burt Bacharach. He mixed "The 5 Browns" Sony Records duet w/Dean Martin of "Everybody Loves Somebody" (which went to #1 TWICE on Billboard’s Classical charts). Ted is especially proud of playing the two guitar solos on Bob Dylan's "Tight Connection To My Heart" from his CBS/Sony gold-selling album "Empire Burlesque". Recent projects are producing the #1 Euro-charting songs “There Will Come A Day”, “World of Hope”, and "True To Your Word" by 2-time Dove Award winner Billy Gaines, the #1 Euro-charting single from new artists Sisters J “Open When”, their currently #10 new song “Clearly”, the album “Alessandra” by Mexican superstar actress/singer Alessandra Rosaldo, “The Man I Love” single from the Manhattan Transfer Grammy-nominated album “50”, the album by rock superstar Dave Mason of Traffic "26 Letters, 12 Notes", the “God’s Gardeners” CD by internationally famed author Margaret Atwood, three albums by pop legend Neil Sedaka (one featuring producers David Foster & Ted), "Gospel Record & Song Of The Year" by Unity Award winning Catholic artist ValLimar Jansen, and the solo CD from longtime Manhattan Transfer member Alan Paul, He also worked on an TV show arrangement of "Amazing Grace" for Lalo Shifrin and the Vienna Symphony featuring soloists Placido Domingo, Jose Carreras, and Diana Ross. Collabro, vocal group winners of “Britain’s Got Talent”, recorded new tracks with Ted in his studio. Ted produced a new album by actress/singer Gloria Loring (Robin Thicke’s mom) featuring songs by Desmond Child, Burt Bacharach, Robin, and a song written by Gloria & Ted. Robin also sang backgrounds on one track. While living in Israel in the early 1970's, he worked in the studios and in concerts with that country’s top stars. Ted even worked on a recording with former Israeli Prime Minister the late Shimon Peres. Ted has conducted, played guitar, & arranged music for NBC, CBS, ABC, Fox, Showtime & others. He has done jingles for McDonald's, Applebee's, Burger King, Korean Airlines, Perrier, & Coca-Cola. From 1998-2000 he taught record production at UCLA; he has also lectured in classes at Duke University, Cuesta College in San Luis Obispo, and the Los Angeles Recording Academy. Ted has served as a panelist on various panels at the annual NAMM Convention in California. He has done extensive work in TV & Movies. He arranged, programmed, & recorded 3 songs in the Adam Sandler movie "I Now Pronounce You Chuck And Larry", ft. Lance Bass of *NSYNC. Ted produced the song "Before We Say Goodbye" for MTV’s first film "2gether", produced, played, & composed the score for ABC-TV's "World Stunt Awards", co-wrote the main theme & cues for Showtime's "Full Frontal Comedy" (winner of Cable ACE award for Best Stand Up Comedy), co-produced 2 songs in the Ellen Burstyn/Jonathan Taylor Thomas film "Walking Across Egypt", & produced the Paul Williams/Bill Conti title song “All Roads Lead To You” for Jean-Claude Van Damme’s film "Desert Heat". Ted produced and co-wrote two songs for Mexican pop star Alessandra Rosaldo, “Por Tu Amor” & “Eres”, which were the title song and closing theme for the Mexican TV novella “Ni Contigo”. He is a Pro endorser/consultant featured in print & online ads by major software and hardware companies Celemony, MAGIX, Steinberg, PSP, ADK microphones, Rob Papen, & many others. He has written articles for music magazines including "Computer Music" & was the subject of the first podcast by “Electronic Musician”. Celemony software & Trident Speakers have both filmed interviews with Ted at his studio. Ted is also FINALLY working on his own CD, which he intends to be a Christian-themed one. He has played guitar on the worship teams at California’s "The Crystal Cathedral" with Dr. Robert Schuller, LA’s First AME Church w/Pastor Cecil "Chip" Murray, and FBC Pasadena. Originally from New York, in 1986 he moved to Los Angeles, then in 2021 Nashville, and now in 2025 West Palm Beach Florida. In Nashville Ted served as the worship leader at “Divine Praise Church” in Clarkesville for six months. Through the miracle of online collaboration Ted has been able to record and produce music for artists in China, Japan, Australia, Canada, and around the US. From 2015 to 2020 Ted audited classes at Fuller Seminary in Pasadena, one of the world's most prestigious theological schools. He recently married the love of his life Emily, a chaplain whom he met at Fuller. He gives all glory to God through his life and music.
