Originally known as "Hurricane" formed in Atlanta, GA. in 1979. Changed the name of the band in 1987 to The Bobaloos and performed at clubs in the Southeast for years building fan support. They have headlined in 1,000 seat halls and have opened for .38 Special, Gregg Allman, Scorpions, Johnny Winter, Molly Hatchet, Robin Trower and others.
The Bobaloos CD is high-energy rock and roll at its best. Performing on this record is Franky Day, Marty Fab, Boonie Maroonie, Chris Lewis, Glenn Hughes (Deep Purple), Gregg Allman (The Allman Brothers/Gregg Allman Band), Billy Powell and Leon Wilkeson (Lynyrd Skynyrd), Howard Leese (Heart/Paul Rodgers Band/Bad Company), Robin Floyd, Bobby Mobley, Bobby Williams, Tony Vaughn, TV Strain, Michael Bastedo, Christi Roland Vaughn. -----
