The Confluence (con-flu-ence): The junction of two rivers.....or, an act or process of merging. Musical styles in this case. From guitarist Klaus Funk’s truly unique tone and dynamics, to the steady rhythms of bassist Dave Holzwarth and percussionist Bailey Kercheval, matched with the acoustic guitar and vocals of Brian Nordyke who’s deliberate song craft ranges from sentimental to the social conscience. They truly have a dynamic sound with an ebb and flow, void of any singular lead, forging a soundscape that meanders like two rivers about to merge; sometimes raging but always fluid.
