Paul Liban: Guitar-Bass-Vocals. The older of the two Liban brothers, Paul began playing guitar at the age of 14 when he began taking lessons at Greenfield High. Naturally gifted he excelled quickly and joined the school Jazz Band. Paul then went on to study with guitarist Gregory Scott and also took classes at the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music. Paul began writing original music and when his youngest brother Ray,The two began composing their own blend of contemporary pop jazz. The next 20 plus years were spent singing and playing in different local groups, ranging from jazz to rock and blues and even polka. They began recording and formed the Liban Brothers Ray Liban: Keyboards-Vocals Ray began to exhibit a natural ability for the piano at the early age of 4, developing passion and creativity ever since. After hearing songs on the radio, he would go to the piano and start playing them. Now he writes and records his own songs in his home studio. As a self-taught pianist, he was able to carve out his own distinctive sound, always experimenting and always alert to the subtleties in music. His style of music spans many genres, including jazz, funk, pop/rock, R&B, and reggae. He has attended classes at the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music. He has also shared the stage and toured with WAMI-winning artist Tammy Winn and is a part of The Liban Brothers with his brother Paul. Together they have performed in at multiple venues, recorded 3 Christmas CDs, and done jingles for local radio stations
