Born in Toronto, Ontario K-Slick grew up in the city of Mississauga where his rap career began. K-Slick was always determined as a youth and he worked hard to make sure that he succeeded in everything he tried. There was nothing out of reach for him as he believes anything is achievable if you believe you can achieve it. Everyone around him noticed that he was very ambitious and unique. As a youth K-Slick never followed pathways created by others he made his own decisions and did not allow other people to influence him. K-Slick always felt a connection with hip hop as he enjoyed listening to rap whenever he could. In grade school he was always zoned out with headphones bumping old school classics and jamming to his favourite rappers. K-Slick began rapping at the age of 15 and his passion for music soared as he found enjoyment through his songs. K-Slick was called for his first concert appearance in a Toronto Club in mid-2009. Soon after, he was scheduled to appear in another concert at Playdium in Mississauga. He went on to perform in many different venues across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). After preforming for multiple places without even releasing his first mixtape, K-Slick aswell as his music was becoming highly popular. As a result, he was asked to perform as an opening act for Canibus. Canibus's performance was a huge success at the Poor Alex Theatre in Toronto with K-Slick pumping up the crowd as the first opening act. Multiple radio stations played his most famous song entitled "Tear It Down" as it is highly requested in the GTA. He later partnered up with Kid Vishis from Detroit to create a track that was very well recognized entitled “Damage”. K-Slick has done many interviews both on the radio and in magazines where he spoke about his love for hip hop and his music. K-Slick has also opened up for Choclair in Guelph and Joe Budden at The Opera House in Toronto. Being highly skilled and determined K-Slick is bound to blow up! So keep a look out because he soon will be coming to a city near you! Currently K-Slick is working on the release of his upcoming mixtape
