Tormenta was born in Ribeirão Preto, São Paulo, where in 1998 its seed was planted by boys that wanted to play and create heavy music at any price. Through the years, the band grew up and developed with dedication and patience. In that period, several musicians arrived and left, and after two years withou any activities, the band came back in 2005. Performing a thrash metal with 80's influences and singing in Portuguese, in the end of 2006 Tormenta introduced on the market its first work, the EP "Tormenta".
