Pronounced Trah-PEE-Koh :) Quirky, sunshine-fueled rhythm rock from Tampa Bay. Combining vocal harmonies, catchy songwriting and fun live shows Tropico Blvd gets you grooving with their energetic jam-filled tunes. Founded in Brooklyn, NY, singer-songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Miguel Lantigua in 2014, Tropico Blvd's first show was at a loft party in Bushwick. The band quickly made a name for themselves with their eclectic songwriting with Latin-infused rhythms, and powerful vocals, playing many local venues including festivals. After a copy of their demo got to the hands of an engineering student, producers Dan Grigsby (Joe Cocker, Rolling Stones) & Ron London (Dave Matthews Band) offered to help record parts of what would later become the groundwork for their first album. In 2016, Lantigua moved the band to St Petersburg, FL where they currently live and perform, finishing their album "It's Gonna Be A Good Day" which was later released in June of 2017. They are currently performing in the Greater Tampa Bay Area.
