Trussed was created as an Experimental Musical Project with the goal of creating music outside of genres. When an artist chooses a genre of music, they are tying themselves to a certain predetermined style of music. Most of the time, the artist and their music fit into the genres that are tied to them. Trussed does not like being tied down. Trussed was created my Tim Russell in January of 2014, Just weeks after losing his home. Traveling from Coffee Shop to Library, there was no instruments available to bang out a song. Instead, Each and every song that is released by Trussed so far has been created exclusively on a laptop with FL Studio. Not having traditional instruments has created unique challenges. painstakingly placing each and every note into the piano roll, listening to it a couple times, adding a couple more notes, etc. TRUSSED is not a person but an Ideal. The Ideal being that Art is for Everyone. Sans no-one. Art is the essence of creation, putting ones soul into what ever medium they choose/want. be it painting, music, writing, making film, taking pictures. And everyone can admire art. don't be Trussed up by stereotypes and enjoy.
