Victor Steven was born Steven Victor Flemming in St. Kitts, West Indies in the village of Newton ground, to parents Livingston Julius and Thelma Flemming. From an early age, the singer-songwriter talents of Victor Steven were apparent.
At the age of 17, he perceived the downfall of Reggae music and the misinformation of the Gospel of Christ, and started to scribe lyrics that became beautiful songs of truth for the Lord. His greatest inspiration is the Christ, the image of God of whom Victor Steven sings with such love. To Victor, to sing to God is to make himself available to God, so He may pour in him love, truth, freedom from bondage and doubt, and peace; that which all the nations should seek.
