WELCOME Santana Tribute is a longtime wish, which has at last become a reality. Named as the fifth santana album released in 1973, the band music and playlist is globally organized around this santana career period, including the Devadip Orchestra experience. Melting up the original afro cuban, rock sounds with some jazz fusion accents, Welcome purposes an instrumental set list from Santana, opening the way to improvisation and jazz expressions. Welcome revisits some geniuses songs from the wide santana musical repertoire, collecting some greatest hits as well as some rare and orignal tracks. Based in Paris, the band gathers musicians and friends from all horizons, meeting up with the willingness to make a tribute to santana music, bringing their touch and vision. The band line up is designed to make place for musical expression and jazz improvisation referring also to the special santana line ups and collaborations with Wayne Shorter, John Mc Laughlin, Herbie Hanckok and many others who contributed to the santana rich universe in every step of the way.
