Le Wox sono una band Metal italiana tutta al femminile nata nel 2009. Dopo un primo periodo di ricerca stilistica e alcuni cambi di line- up, nel 2016 il gruppo trova una formazione più stabile, con la quale inizia a comporre i primi brani inediti che saranno successivamente pubblicati nell’album d’esordio ANXIETY, uscito nel 2018. L’album, caratterizzato da un sound prevalentemente cupo e introspettivo, lascia spazio a sfumature più hard rock e intermezzi metal più tecnici. Con l’album all’attivo, la band cresce e inizia a far concerti in tutta Italia, partecipando a diversi festival e suonando anche in supporto a nomi come Blaze Bayley e Pino Scotto. Nel giugno 2019 le Wox, in occasione della partecipazione a Sanremo Rock, concorso nel quale arrivano in finale (vincendo diversi premi come il premio F.I.P.I per la migliore band in gara e il premio Bandit Biker Pub per la miglior band in concorso), pubblicano il loro primo singolo in italiano, "POLVERE". La band continua a conciliare l'attività di live e composizione fino al 2020, quando subisce un ulteriore arresto. A maggio 2023 le Wox riprendono l'attività annunciando l'entrata di una nuova Front-woman, con cui iniziano a lavorare a un nuovo Ep, dal quale presto uscirà il primo singolo “Breathless”. After a first stylistic research and some team changes, the ladies define their line-up in 2016, when they start to write their first original songs, which will be published in their first EP “Anxiety” in 2018. The EP is characterized by a dark and introspective sound, which mixes hard rock nuances to technical metal passages. With this first album, the band grows and starts to play its music all around the country. Wox participates in different festivals and share the stage with international artists like Blaze Bailey and Pino Scotto. In 2019 the band takes part in Sanremo Rock, a branch of the famous Italian festival, and the band places in the first positions, winning some important prizes like the F.I.P.I. prize for the best original band and the Bandit Bikers Pub’s prize. Specifically for this occasion, the band decides to publish its first Italian single, “Polvere”. After a very productive period, in 2020 Wox’ musical activity stops. In 2023 the ladies announce their come back on the musical scene with a new front-woman and start to work on new material, which will soon flow into a new EP. “Breathless” will be the first single that will come out from the new album.
