Blaakyum
Hailing from turbulent Beirut in Lebanon, Blaakyum has been standing up against war, corruption, and conflict in the Middle East with a unique sound blending Thrash, Heavy and Groove Metal and infused with Middle Eastern and Levantine folk music vibes that make traditional oriental instruments sound Thrashy. The band has followed up winning third place in the worldwide finals of the Metal Battle at Wacken Open Air 2015 with a crushing new album, “Line Of Fear” that was promoted through a tour of the Middle East and Europe, with a show at Tuska Open Air 2016 and a 16-day Europe tour in support of Onslaught. Blaakyum is currently recording its third album after performing in UK's Bloodstock 2017.
