2018 the German band "Seligen" split for many reasons - except musical differences. The time had been come to start an new thing, more consequent and more colourful. We are the last bones of this lovely group of noisers, so we try to go on with the style we like: folk rock with a middle age touch. 2019 we are "Rüpelzahl", a name that is a joke. "Rübezahl" (diferently written) is a german myth of a giant in the eastern mountains of the country. We don't know whether he lived or not, but we're told he counted carrots ("Rüben"). We count "Rüpel" (something like a hooligan). The world is full of rascals all around, and we watch them wherever they go. German Blues is our message, german folk is our style. Hope you will enjoy!
